For the brasserie of Athinais Hotel in central Athens, we developed a complete branding project, creating a distinct identity that both attracts hotel guests and engages the surrounding business community, resulting in increased brand recognition and customer engagement.
The need was to establish a strong presence and a recognizable concept. Belma undertook the naming, logo design, and overall development and production of the brand’s visual identity. Through close collaboration with the owner, we explored the space’s history and heritage.
Following research and concept development, the name Platho was selected — a Greek word, written in Latin characters, making it accessible to international visitors while expressing a sense of craftsmanship and handmade quality, reflecting the brasserie’s culinary approach.
For the logo design, we drew inspiration from the space's artistic elements — particularly a handcrafted wall created by a previous generation — and Bauhaus references to create a balanced, contemporary visual result.
The brand identity was applied across all touchpoints, including exterior signage and printed materials such as placemats, coasters, and menus, to shape a cohesive, recognizable in-store experience.
